We are hiring for a leader in the Renewable Manufacturing space who is looking to bring on a new Safety Manager for their New Mexico team. You will have plant and company wide responsibility for managing the firms HSE Program. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing plants who is looking to help shape the future of the company's safety program, & ensure we enhance our manufacturing processes throughout the entire supply chain.

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead world class safe operation of Albuquerque company sites by developing and implementing effective HSE initiatives, policies and programs across the organization
• Recommend capital expenditures to support improvements to HSE systems
• Lead investigations into incidents to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Leads the operations section and the development and implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) which will include elements of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Identify ways to improve safety by conducting Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs)
• Leads the operations section and development and implementation of Environmental Management System (in conjunction with the Integrated Management System IMS)
• Leads the operations section and ESG efforts
• Supports operational compliance to applicable standards and laws
• Communicate effectively on a technical level and across organizational line.
• Other duties as assigned

The qualifications you must have:

• Bachelor s degree in safety or similar
• 7+ years of experience in HSE management
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Our preferred qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP
• Knowledge of Environmental regulations and requirements; actual applicable experience in this area strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma
